Meeting Notes & Background Information

MEETING NOTES: Notes from 22nd Feb 2023 meeting with Andrew Jones,  Strategic Director of Children’s Services at Sheffield City Council. Click here to read Emma and Claudia’s notes.

URGENT QUESTIONNAIRE: We are trying to bring together parents’/carers’ thoughts on the school, and have created a very short questionnaire to capture that information. It asks how you feel about the school, and what you value. We really need to get a wider picture of families’ opinions about KES. Please click here to fill it in and share with other parent/carers.

QUESTIONS FOR SCC Children’s Services Director: If you have questions for Andrew Jones please submit them using this form. We will collate them for him to answer at a meeting in 2 weeks time.

NEW PETITION: To show the level of resistance from the wider school community and how many students and their families do not want the school to be taken over by an academy. This will be used to demonstrate to the DfE that they should offer the school an opportunity to address Ofsted’s concerns without such significant upheaval. Please share this petition to all parent/carers so we can get a wider picture of level of feeling. Click here see the petition and share with other parent/carers.
